Mexico City is a vibrant metropolis full of culture, but if you're looking for a lively area to stay and play, look no further than Condesa, Zona Rosa and Centro Historico. Bursting with trendy bars, restaurants, and cafes, it's the perfect spot to experience the city's buzzing nightlife.
Pack your sunscreen and dancing shoes for a trip to Mexico City! From exploring ancient ruins to sampling the (spicy) local street food, this vibrant destination is bursting with adventure. Hot tip, clean water can be hard to come by so if you’re keen to avoid single-use plastics, consider investing in a portable filter for your refillable water bottle.
Mexico City is a thriving metropolis bursting with amazing things to see, do and devour. Add the awe-inspiring Palacio de Bellas Artes (or Palace of Fine Arts) to your list, right alongside rolling out a rug in Chapultepec Park and wandering around the main square of Plaza del Zócalo. If you’re feeling adventurous, take a daytrip out to Teotihuacan to go hot-air ballooning over the ancient ruins (if you’re not feeling quite that adventurous, you can still explore the ruins on foot). Hiring a gondola and cruising the Floating Gardens of Xochimilco is another must for visitors.

Best to do your research before booking and heed the warnings on which areas to avoid. Maybe skip Tepito, Doctores and Iztapalapa.
