Cambodians are some of the friendliest people you will meet! Tourism is one of the key industries in Cambodia, and the people are only too willing to help you make the most of your time here.

High season in Cambodia is November through January, bringing with it dry weather and loads of visitors. June through August is the rainy season, so if you’re travelling mid-year make sure you bring a poncho!

Discover magic stone-carved temples in Angkor, cruise the Mekong River in Phnom Penh, take a Khmer-French fusion cooking class, learn about the history of Cambodia and how the country is rebuilding after the Khmer Rouge, or seek out remote tropical beaches.

To do Cambodia justice you really need two weeks, which would give you a few days each in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and a tropical beach stay, with a day or two for travel in between.

Light clothing and a spare change of clothes in case you need to dry out from the humidity. Make sure that if you are planning to visit palaces and temples that you wear modest clothing. You’ll also need sunscreen and insect repellent.
