The best time to visit Switzerland is between April to June and September to October for mild weather and fewer crowds. However, if you’re keen to hit the slopes and make the most of a winter wonderland, November to February might be more your vibe. 


It all depends on when you’re visiting. As a rule of thumb, layered clothing and comfortable footwear is always a must. For mountain excursions or those visiting in the winter, make sure you bring plenty of warm, waterproof clothes.
