There are plenty of ways to pay for your FlySafair tickets, including credit or debit cards, Flight Centre Gift Cards and more. A full list of accepted payment methods is available in our Help Centre. 

To check the status of your FlySafair flights after booking, talk to your Travel Expert or use the real-time flight status search tool on the FlySafair website. More information on how to manage your booking can also be found in our Help Centre. 

While last-minute FlySafair sale fares may become available, you’ll normally find it pays to plan ahead, and we generally recommend you book FlySafair flights between six and nine months before you travel wherever possible. When it comes to balancing airfare availability with the biggest savings, this should give you the best of both worlds! 

Basic FlySafair tickets are perfect for those travelling light and generally only include one carry-on bag weighing up to 7kg. If you’ll be needing a checked luggage allowance for your flight, this will need to be purchased separately.  

Baggage allowances will vary depending on your flight itinerary, ticket class and loyalty program status, so check your specific FlySafair tickets to see what’s included. Need to add baggage to your flight booking? Talk to your Travel Expert before heading to the airport! 

You may be able to earn frequent flyer points on eligible FlySafair flights booked with us. When booking online, you’ll see a place to add your loyalty program or frequent flyer membership details if this is available for your flights, or you can ask your Travel Expert to add it for you when booking in-store.
