Where can I buy a Flight Centre Gift Card?
Buying a Flight Centre Gift Card couldn’t be easier! You can visit your local Travel Expert to purchase in-store. When purchasing in-store, you’ll be able to choose between a physical Flight Centre Gift Card and an e-Gift Card.
How can I check my Flight Centre Gift Card balance?
Need to check how much potential travel you’ve got left on your Flight Centre Gift Card so you can book that next trip? No worries! You can ask your Travel Expert to check for you in-store. Just make sure you have your Gift Card number and PIN handy as you’ll need this when checking your balance!

Can I use my Flight Centre Gift Card for online bookings?
Currently, Flight Centre Gift Cards can only be used for in-store bookings. Simply visit your local Travel Expert in-store and they’ll be able to help you book the trip of your dreams using your Gift Card!
What can I book with my Flight Centre Gift Card?
You can book your entire holiday with a Flight Centre Gift Card – everything from flights, accommodation and travel insurance to cruises, tours and car hire! Once you’re ready to make your next trip official, visit your local Travel Expert in-store to redeem your Gift Card.
Can I use multiple Flight Centre Gift Cards for one booking?
You sure can! If the balance of your Flight Centre Gift Card isn’t enough to cover the total cost of your travel plans, you can use an alternative payment method – including another Gift Card – to pay for the rest of the booking. It’s possible to redeem up to five Gift Cards in a single in-store transaction.
Can I use a Flight Centre Gift Card to pay for part of my trip and use another payment method for the rest?
Absolutely! If your Flight Centre Gift Card balance is less than your total booking cost, you’ll need to use another payment method to cover the rest of your trip. More information on accepted payment methods is available in our Help Centre.
Do Flight Centre Gift Cards expire?
Yes, unless otherwise stated, Flight Centre Gift Cards are valid for 36 months (three years) from the date of purchase. We’re pretty confident you’ll find a trip that tickles your fancy in that time! Make sure you use your Gift Card before it expires because it won't be possible to get a credit or refund on any unused balances. Can I get a refund on my Flight Centre Gift Card?

Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all gift cards and electronic vouchers issued by or on behalf of Flight Centre Travel Group Limited (“FCTG”) trading as “Flight Centre”. By purchasing, redeeming or attempting to redeem a Gift Card, you agree to the following terms.
Gift Cards can be redeemed at all Flight Centre stores located within South Africa. Flight Centre Gift Cards can be used as partial or full payment towards flights, accommodation, package, tours, card hire and more (for all product types excluding currency).
Gift Cards are valid for use within 3 years from the date of sale and are available for use twenty-four (24) hours after purchase. Up to five (5) Gift Cards may be redeemed per booking made in-store, subject to paragraph 8 below. In-store Gift Card(s) redemptions can take place at any Flight Centre store located within South Africa.
Gift Cards will be issued with a PIN number, which is only accessible by the recipient of the Gift Card. In order for a Gift Card to be redeemed, the customer must provide the associated unique PIN number at time of redemption. If a PIN number cannot be provided, the Gift Card cannot be redeemed.
Gift Cards may only be applied up to the maximum value loaded onto the Gift Card which is unspent at the time of use. Where the cost of purchase exceeds the available balance of the Gift Card, the excess amount must be paid by another payment method.
Gift Cards are non-refundable. If a refund is necessary in connection with a booking made using a Gift Card (for instance, where refunds may be required in accordance with Flight Centre’s Standard Booking Terms) funds will be refunded to the booking contact who made the relevant booking against which the Gift Card was redeemed.
Gift Cards may be redeemed in whole or part during the validity period. Where used in part, no change will be given. Any unused balance may be used against future purchases but will not be refunded or credited when the Gift Card expires.
Gift Cards cannot be reloaded or topped up.
Gift Cards may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash, gift cards, traveller’s cheques, cash passports or any other form of currency.
Gift Cards may not, without the prior written consent of Flight Centre, be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a Gift Card is sold or used in breach of this condition, Flight Centre may in its absolute and sole discretion cancel or render invalid the Gift Card without a refund and the Gift Cardholder may be refused redemption of the Gift Card. Flight Centre will take all reasonable steps to notify you of the intention to cancel or render invalid a Gift Card within a reasonable time before cancelling or rendering invalid the Gift Card.
Flight Centre may cancel or render invalid any Gift Card (including any available balance) which determines in its absolute and sole discretion was purchased at any time and in any way (including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites) by fraudulent means. Flight Centre may cancel any bookings made using any fraudulent Gift Card which may include any non-refundable amounts. Flight Centre will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you if you purchase or attempt to redeem any fraudulent Gift Card. You acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to redeem any available balance on any fraudulent Gift Card and that Flight Centre will not be obliged to hold such balance on file for you or otherwise redeem or exchange that Gift Card.
You are responsible for the use and security of your Gift Card and PIN number. Lost or stolen Gift Cards may not be replaced or refunded. Lost or stolen PIN numbers cannot be reissued or replaced. You are liable for all transactions on your Gift Card except those caused by fraud or negligence by Flight Centre or its employees.
Defaced, mutilated or altered Gift Cards may not be accepted, replaced or refunded.
Gift Cards may not be used for payment of credit or retailer accounts.
Gift Cards may be purchased up to a total value of 50,000ZAR per Gift Card in store.
Personal information collected in relation to your Gift Card will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policies which are available at https://help.flightcentre.co.za/s/article/privacy-notice-za
Questions or problems relating to Gift Cards should be directed to your nearest store. Complaints about purchases made with a Gift Card should be resolved directly with the store concerned.
