The Magic Kingdom is the original Walt Disney Park which opened in 1971 and is recognised by its famous Cinderella Castle.  In addition to Mickey Mouse and all the Disney characters, the Magic Kingdom is famous for such scenes as Main Street U.S.A., Adventure Land with its Pirates of the Caribbean and Swiss Family Tree House attractions and Liberty Square with its famous Haunted Mansion and Hall of Presidents theatre.

While other Orlando theme parks have an adventure theme geared for teens and adults, Magic Kingdom is a particularly special place with kids.  Whimsical streets, musical parades and Disney characters create a fairytale setting and evening fireworks over the lovely castle creates a truly magical visit.

It wouldn’t be a theme park without fun rides and Magic Kingdom has some of the best.  Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a ‘runaway’ train, speeding along curvy track, giving riders a real thrill.  One of the most famous roller coasters in Disney history is Space Mountain.  This coaster plunges riders in darkness, through loops and plunges with light speed effects.

Magic Kingdom is located southwest of downtown Orlando between U.S. Interstate 4 and the Daniel Webster Western Beltway.  Follow these to the Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy and exit on World Drive.
