The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail service is one of the most convenient and affordable ways to travel between Atlanta Airport and Downtown Atlanta using public transport! The MARTA airport station is located between the North and South baggage claims in the Domestic Terminal, and the Red and Gold lines run frequently from Atlanta Airport to popular destinations like Downtown Atlanta, Midtown and Buckhead. Need to transfer between the Domestic Terminal and the International Terminal at Atlanta Airport? The free Plane Train service runs 24/7 between all seven concourses (T, A, B, C, D, E and F), making it an efficient way to transfer between the terminals and navigate the airport. Top tip! If you're looking for the Rental Car Center or heading to the nearby Gateway Center hotels after your flight, you’ll need to use the ATL SkyTrain rather than the Plane Train.
