Check-in

Chile Airport has two terminals: Terminal 1 for domestic flights and Terminal 2 for international services. It’s always a good idea to get to the airport nice and early for your flight, and to confirm check-in times directly with your airline as each may have different requirements. As a general guide, aim for at least two hours before domestic departures and three hours before international flights. Check-in halls typically open three to four hours before early flights. Remember, it’s often possible to check in online in advance via your airline’s website or app, which can be a lekker way to save time on the day of travel.

Baggage

Baggage allowances vary by airline and ticket class, so it’s important to confirm what’s included with your flight booking to avoid any surprises at bag drop! For more specific information on baggage limits, such as the size, weight and number of bags included in your airfare, check with your airline or ask your Travel Expert for assistance. Need to store your bags at Chile Airport? 24-hour left luggage and packing services are available in both terminals – handy if you want to explore Santiago hands-free before your flight.
