1. DEFINITIONS 

1.1 Eligible Entrant: Any person that is a permanent resident and citizen of South Africa over the age of 18 (eighteen) years old at the time of entering the Competition, in possession of a valid South African identity document and passport, except any employee, director, member, partner, agent, or consultant of the Promotor  and/or any person directly or indirectly controlling or controlled by the Promotor , and immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent, or consultant. "Immediate family members" shall include but is not limited to; spouse, parents, siblings, grandparents, children, and grandchildren. 

1.2 Prizes: Two nights’ accommodation in Cape Town for 2 (two) adults in a 4-star hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. Flights and any other transportation are not included in the prize.  

1.3 Promotor: Flight Centre Travel Group Proprietary Limited, Registration Number 1994/000253/07, a company registered and incorporated in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa and includes its Affiliates. 

1.4 Winner: An Eligible Entrant who is selected through a random draw and meets all entry requirements.   

1.5 Promotional Period: The period during which the competition is open for entries, commencing on 6 May 2026 and concluding on 31 May 2026 

2. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY 

2.1 To qualify and stand a chance to win the Prize, Eligible Entrants must book and fully pay for any local holiday under this page https://www.flightcentre.co.za/deals/big-red-sale#local  during the Promotion Period. 

2.2 The Prize will be awarded to the individual who has booked a local holiday at any of our Flight Centre stores nationwide. The booking must be fully paid by the 31st of May 2026 

2.3 Only 1 (one) entry per person is permitted.  

2.4 The Winner of the above-mentioned prizes will be chosen by means of a random    draw. The Promotor’s decision shall be final. 

2.5 The Winners of the Prize will be announced on the 8th of June 2026. The Winner will have 48 (forty-eight) hours to claim the Prize after the prize letter has been sent via email. If there is no response within 48 (forty-eight) hours, the Prize will be forfeited, and a new Winner will be chosen, at random. 

2.6 By entering this competition, the Eligible Entrant has read and agrees that the Prize is subject to the Promotor’s booking terms and conditions available at https://www.flightcentre.co.za/  

2.7 By entering this competition, the Eligible Entrant has read and agrees that the Promotor may use and disclose the personal information they provide in accordance with the Promotor ’s Privacy Policy available at https://www.flightcentre.co.za/.  

3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

3.1. Eligible Entrants stand a chance to win the following Prize: 

3.1.1. 2 nights' accommodation at a 4-star hotel in Cape Town for 2 (two) adults on a bed and breakfast basis. The name of the hotel will be confirmed at the time of booking and shall be at the discretion of the Promotor.  

3.2. The Competition commences on the 6th of May 2026 and will remain open for   the Promotional Period. 

3.3 The Winner must ensure that bookings for the Winner and travelling companions are all made for the same date and itinerary. Bookings for the Prize may not be split into different itineraries/travel dates.  

3.4 The Prize excludes any flights, car hire, local transportation, spending money, incidentals and tipping, meal and beverages not specified, activities not specified, anything of a personal nature.    

3.5 The Winner must provide their full name and that of their travel companion as well as their travel dates no later than 4 weeks prior to their intended date of travel.  

3.6 The Winner and their travel companion must have utilised their Prize by the 30th of September 2026 (“validity period”), failing which the Prize shall be forfeited. The Prize shall not be extended beyond the aforementioned date. 

3.7 The full value of the Prize must be redeemed and utilized by the Winner and travel companions by the stipulated period. Failing this, the Prize shall be forfeited, and the Winner shall have no claim from the Promotor to the value of the Prize. 

 3.8 Any cancellations, no-shows, amendments, name changes made after any booking has been confirmed may carry additional costs imposed by the accommodation supplier. These fees will be fees payable by the Winner. 

3.9 Under no circumstances can any aspect of this Prize be transferred, amended, extended, refunded, or exchanged for cash. 

3.10 The Prize is only valid for the person nominated for the Prize and may not be transferred to other individuals. 

3.11 Winners of the above-mentioned Prizes must be part of the travelling party at the time of making the booking.  

3.12 The Prize will not be extended beyond the validity period, and no exceptions will be made. 

3.13 The Winner of the flight Prize and their travel companions must be in possession of valid identification. This may include, but is not limited to, a South African Identity Document, Passport and other supporting documents required for travelling with children. 

3.14 The Promotor takes no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prize. 

3.15 If the Promotor cannot provide the Winner with the nominated Prize for any reason, the Promotor reserves the right to supply an alternative Prize of similar monetary value. 

3.16 If the Winner does not accept any element of the Prize, the Promotor is not obliged to provide the Winner with a substitute prize. 

3.17 The Promotor will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury which results directly or indirectly from this competition and/or giveaway, except that which cannot be excluded by law. 

4. PROMOTIONAL USE  

4.1. By entering this competition, all participants hereby consent that the Promotor has the right to use their entries, including names, images, and any other content submitted, on its social media platforms and for marketing purposes, without additional compensation. 

4.2. Social Media platforms include but is not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and any other marketing materials or channels used by Flight Centre Travel Group Proprietary Limited, South Africa.
