Charming Madrid

Your tour will begin in the city of Madrid where you can explore the charming boulevards, wander through the beautifully kept parks, and discover the treasure troves of historical exhibitions and artefacts. A visit to Madrid would be incomplete without a visit to the Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. A visit to Madrid offers visitors plenty of museums and galleries to explore, including the Museo Nacional de Prado which is a collection of European art. Other must-see attractions include the Royal Palace of Madrid, Gran Via - the Spanish Broadway, and the Calle Mayor which is a main street in the city, lined with shops, museums, statues and more.

Granada in the mountains

Granada is in the Andalusian region at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountain. Sprawling with medieval architecture, palaces, fountains and gardens, Granada is a fascinating place to visit. The Alhambra is a medieval complex with palaces, throne rooms, and courtyards, and tells stories which dates back to Muhammad V. The Royal Chapel of Granada is next to the Cathedral and is the burial site of Catholic monarchs. With its ancient walls and tombs and its beautiful architecture, the Royal Chapel of Grenada is a must see.

Pay a visit to the Gypsy Quarter of Sacromonte which is a colourful experience and a place which has been inhabited by Gypsies since 1532. And you should definitely visit the La Alcaicería, which is the Arab Spice Market. Here you’ll find a network of narrow streets with craft and souvenir stalls and shops.

Sunshine and seafood in Costa Del Sol

The Costa del Sol in the south of Spain is an area filled with quaint Spanish villages, where people still take siestas, dine on fresh seafood at the water’s edge and live life in the most Spanish way imaginable. In Costa del Sol, you will find spectacular beaches, beautiful traditions and history, and delicious Spanish cuisine.

Arab culture in Fez

Fez has an old world feel to it with its famous old Medina quarters, bustling markets, amazing Arab architecture, holy shrines like the Zaouia Moulay Idriss II and the Tanners’ Quarter. Fez is a wonderful place to visit and is considered the cultural capital of Morocco – definitely a highlight on this tour.

Vibrant Marrakesh

Marrakesh is the economic centre of Morocco and is a bustling and vibrant city filled with busy streets, mosques, markets, palaces and more. In the medina which is an ancient walled medieval city you will find a maze of alleys where traditional wares, pottery and jewellery can be found.

Flamenco dancing in Seville

Seville is the capital of the Andalusian region and is your last stop before heading to Portugal. This is the city where you want to put your dancing shoes on and try your skills with a little flamenco rhythm. Visit the Plaza de España for its lake, twin towers, and the benches that depict 48 provinces of Spain. Stroll through the cobbled alleys of Bario Santa Cruz with its colourful trees, tiled patios and visit the variety of bars serving tapas, sangria and more.

A heritage of discovery in Lisbon
