Getting a vaccination needed for travel is now a little bit easier with Flight Centre launching an exciting new travel health option for clients.

TRAVAC will be providing a travelling vaccination clinic to the Johannesburg and Pretoria areas.

TRAVAC is a South African based company that specialises in providing certified travel vaccinations and healthcare for South Africans travelling abroad at a cost effective rate.

The necessary vaccinations can be administered by a registered Nurse or Sister in the comfort of your office or home. And if need be a basic medical can also be conducted during the consultation at no extra cost.

TRAVAC provides the following vaccinations: Cholera, H.Influenza Type B, Hepatitis A & B, Influenza, Japanese Encephalitis, Measles (MMR), Meningococcal, Pneumococcal, Polio, Rabies, Tetanus/Diptheria/Pertussis, Typhoid, Varicella and Yellow Fever.

Vaccinations administered will be in accordance with the destination you are travelling to. Most African countries require all visitors to be up to date with childhood vaccines including Hepatitis B, Diptheria, Polio, Tetanus, Measles, Mumps and Rubella.

Vaccinations have the power to prevent serious illness and death and it is estimated that over 20 million lives have been saved during the last 20 years through the widespread use of vaccines.
