Operating under the name Dolphin Marine Magic, ‘pet porpoise pool’ in Coffs Harbour on the Central Coast of New South Wales cares for marine mammals that have been injured and are unable to be released back into the wild.

Home to a variety of species from bottlenose dolphins, seals, penguins and turtles, the facility also claims to be Australia’s largest breeding centre for the endangered Australian Sea Lion. Dolphin Marine Magic is unique in that it allows visitors the chance to interact with some of the animals in an engaging, up-close way.

The facility features a marine discovery presentation, an interactive show with performing dolphins and seals along with a brief educational presentation on the mammals and their habitat. Visitors have the chance to touch a dolphin and feed a seal and the pool likes to say that this is the only place where visitors can be ‘kissed’ by a seal and dolphin for free.

Dolphin Marine Magic is located in Coffs Harbour just a short distance east of the Pacific Motorway. Head towards the coast where the facility is located near the jetty precinct and Coffs Creek.
