We have included a short FAQ summary below to assist and guide you with any questions you may have at this time.

Your dedicated Travel Expert remains available to you should you have any questions surrounding your travel booking or any vouchers/credits that may have been issued as a result of COVID-19.

I was issued with a voucher/credit for future travel on Air Mauritius in light of COVID-19. What will happen to this voucher/credit?

Your voucher/credit is secure and nothing will change in terms of how you redeem this voucher/credit when you are ready to book travel with Air Mauritius again.

In light of the news received from Air Mauritius, can we apply for a refund?

The re-accommodation policy in light of COVID-19 still stands and Air Mauritius is issuing vouchers/credits for future travel at this time. Unfortunately, refunds are not an option extended as part of the current re-accommodation policy made available by Air Mauritius.

How will this update from Air Mauritius impact my travel insurance policy?

We recommend that you reach out to your travel insurance provider directly.

Will Air Mauritius continue to fly as per their communicated schedule?

We have been advised that the South African routes will not be impacted at this time. Although Air Mauritius has been placed under voluntary administration, they will continue to fly. The decision to place the business under voluntary administration has been made to review the business model, ensuring a sustainable future.
