The Advent season is a reminder to simply put your feet up and relax. There is no better way to do this than on board a river cruise. A good cup of tea will warm you up on the ship while the wintry landscape passes by outside. When you think of Cologne, the cathedral is certainly the first thing that springs to mind. However, the numerous Christmas markets, which illuminate different facets of the city, also attract visitors during the Christmas season. The journey to Mainz is just as atmospheric. The Advent season bathes the city with its impressive buildings in a particularly romantic light. Finally, you can visit culturally significant sites in Koblenz.
