With Air France, Delta Airlines, Korean Air and China Airlines to its name, SkyTeam is the most recent of the three major airline alliances. SkyTeam has 20 airlines across the world, making it the second largest of the three partnerships. 

Star Alliance »

Star Alliance is the largest airline alliance in the world. Frankfurt-based Star Alliance started out with just five major airlines and today has more than 25 under its umbrella, including Air New Zealand, Air Canada and United Airlines.
