1. DEFINITIONS
1.1. Eligible Entrant: Any person that is a permanent resident and citizen of South Africa over the age of 18 (eighteen) years old at the time of entering the Competition, in possession of a valid South African Identity Document and passport, except any employee, director, member, partner, agent, or consultant of the Promotor and/or any person directly or indirectly controlling or controlled by the Promotor , and immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent, or consultant. "Immediate family members" shall include but is not limited to; spouse, parents, siblings, grandparents, children, and grandchildren.
1.2. Prize/s: Return economy class flights on Qatar Airways over a 12 (twelve) month period and weekly Prizes.
1.2.1. The Qatar Airways Prize is for the following routes, departing from either O.R Tambo International Airport, King Shaka International Airport or Cape Town International airport. The Prize is valid for travel to the following destinations only: Doha, Dubai, Athens, Dublin, Rome, Barcelona, Lisbon, Paris, Bangkok, Denpasar.
1.3. Promotor: Flight Centre Travel Group Proprietary Limited, Registration Number: 1994/000253/07, a company registered and incorporated in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa and includes its Affiliates.
1.4. Winner: An Eligible Entrant who is selected through a random draw and meets all entry requirements.
1.5. Promotional Period: The period during which the competition is open for entries, commencing on 17 November 2025 and concluding on 15 December 2025.
2. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
2.1. The Prize will be awarded to the individual that has booked and fully paid for a Qatar Airways flight during the promotional period on any Qatar Airways routes.
2.1.1. All Qatar Airways routes are eligible for entry during the promotional period. Only stopovers in Doha will be permitted, either on the way to or back from the destination.
2.2. Only 1 (one) winner will be selected to win the above-mentioned Prizes
2.3. To qualify and stand a chance to win one of the Prizes, the Eligible Entrant must have purchased and fully paid for a Qatar Airways flight during the promotional period.
2.4. Bookings made at any of our 44 (forty-four) Flight Centre stores and on the Flight Centre online booking tool (www.flightcentre.co.za) are eligible for the Prize.
2.5. Only 1 (one) entry per person is permitted.
2.6. The Winner for the above-mentioned prizes will be chosen by means of a random draw. The Promotor’s decision shall be final.
2.7. The Winner of the Prize will be announced on the 23d of December 2025. The Winner will have 48 (forty-eight) hours to claim the Prize after the Prize letter has been sent via email. If there is no response within 48 (forty-eight) hours, the Prize will be forfeited, and a new Winner will be chosen, at random.
2.8. By entering this competition, the Eligible Entrant has read and agrees that the Prize is subject to the Promotor’s booking terms and conditions available at https://www.flightcentre.co.za/
2.9. By entering this competition, the Eligible Entrant has read and agrees that the Promotor may use and disclose the personal information they provide in accordance with the Promotor ’s Privacy Policy available at https://www.flightcentre.co.za/.
3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
3.1. Eligible Entrants stand a chance to win the following Prize:
3.1.1 Return economy class flights on Qatar Airways over a 12 (twelve) month period.
3.2. The Competition commences on the 17th of November 2025 and will remain open for the Promotional Period.
3.3. The validity of the Prize is from 23 December 2025 to 31 October 2026, and all travel must be completed by then. All travel needs to be booked by the 31st of March 2026.
3.4. A maximum of 1 (one) ticket per month can be booked over a 12 (twelve) month period. Any unused flights will be forfeited, and no extensions will be granted.
3.5. The flights will be subject to availability at the time of making the booking. Flight bookings must be confirmed not less than 30 (thirty) days prior to the travel date.
3.6. All flights must be redeemed by the 31st of March 2026, and travel must be completed by the 31st of October 2026.
3.7. The Prizes must be redeemed and utilized by the Winner by the stipulated period. Failing this, the Prize shall be forfeited, and the Winner shall have no claim or right or recourse against the Promotor for the value of the Prize.
3.8. Any cancellations, no-shows, amendments, name changes made after any booking has been confirmed may carry additional costs imposed by the airline carrier. These fees will be fees payable by the Winner and may not be set off from any other Flight Centre vouchers or gift cards.
3.9. Under no circumstances can any aspect of the above-mentioned Prizes be transferred, amended, extended, refunded, or exchanged for cash.
3.10. The Prizes are only valid for the person nominated for the Prize and may not be transferred to other individuals.
3.11. The Prizes will not be extended beyond the validity period, and no exceptions will be made.
3.12. The Winner must be in possession of valid identification. This may include, but is not limited to, a South African Identity Document, Passport and other supporting documents required for travelling.
3.13. The Promotor takes no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prizes.
3.14. If the Promotor cannot provide the Winner with the nominated Prize for any reason, the Promotor reserves the right to supply an alternative Prize of similar monetary value.
3.15. If the Winner does not accept any element of the Prize, the Promotor is not obliged to provide the Winner with a substitute prize.
3.16. The Promotor will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury which results directly or indirectly from this competition and/or giveaway, except that which cannot be excluded by law.
4. PROMOTIONAL USE
4.1. By entering this competition, all participants hereby consent that the Promotor has the right to use their entries, including names, images, and any other content submitted, on its social media platforms and for marketing purposes, without additional compensation.
4.2. Social Media platforms include but is not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and any other marketing materials or channels used by Flight Centre Travel Group Proprietary Limited, South Africa.
