Economy

Economy passengers travelling with Air Macau can dine on a menu of appetizers, entrees, hot meals, and deserts onboard long-haul flights, along with complimentary beverages. A lighter meal is served for flights of a shorter duration. Air Macau doesn’t provide personal in-flight entertainment, but allows passengers to bring reading material, laptops and hand-held devices (up to 4kg) on-board on top of carry-on luggage allowance. Cabin screens showing movies are available on some longer-haul flights with this airline.

Business

A business class menu of appetizers, hot mains, deserts and cheese is served in the Business Class cabin on longer Air Macau flights, plus a range of complimentary beverages. On shorter flights a light meal is served, alongside tea and coffee. Bring your own entertainment onboard in the form of a laptop, reading materials or handheld devices, as Air Macau’s inflight entertainment is limited to cabin screens showing local movies, and this is only available on longer flights.

Carry-on

All Air Macau passengers are entitled to bring carry-on luggage with a maximum weight of 7kg and maximum dimensions of 22 x 14 x 9 inches. In addition to this, travellers may also bring a small briefcase or handbag, a coat, a camera, reading material and duty free.

Checked Luggage

If you’re travelling Economy with Air Macau, the maximum weight allowance for check-in luggage is 20kg. For Business Class passengers, this allowance is raised to 30kg total weight. Excess baggage fees apply for all passengers, charged at 1.5% one-way full economy fare per kg over baggage allowance.

Infant

Infants travelling with Air Macau are entitled to 10kg of checked baggage for free, as well as a folding pushchair that must also be checked-in. Infant food, nappies and amenities can be taken on the flight, and a bassinet that can fit on the airline’s fold down shelves may also be taken onboard.

Air Macau does not currently support web check-in, so all travellers must report to the airport check-in desk to complete check-in and baggage drop before flying. Air Macau passengers are advised to check-in at least 2 hours before scheduled departure time, and check-in counters close 40 minutes before the flight leaves.

Lounge

Air Macau VIP Lounge is located on the mezzanine floor of the Departures Level at Macau Airport. Open from 8am until last flight departure of the day, the VIP Lounge is available for Gold and Platinum members of Air Macau’s Privileges Frequent Flyer program on presentation of card with same day boarding pass. Platinum members may invite one guest to the lounge with them. Relax in the comfort of the lounge before boarding your flight with free WiFi access and satellite TV, a range of magazines and newspapers, as well as hot showers and bathrooms. The lounge also has a self-service food and beverages buffet of Portuguese, Cantonese and Japanese specialities.

 

Earn travel miles points each time you fly with Air Macau’s Privileges Frequent Flyer scheme. Three status levels are available depending on how often you travel and how many points you earn with the airline, each offering privileges and discounts in return for customer loyalty.

Blue Card

Any traveller on Air Macau over the age of 2 may apply to join Privileges Blue Card loyalty program. Benefits include a 10% discount on Duty Free Shopping both in-flight and online. Mileage points collected may be redeemed for award tickets and upgrades. Blue Card membership expires after 3 years if no points are accrued during that time.

Gold Card

Upgrade to Gold Card status is available for Air Macau Privileges members who gain more than 16,000 travel points in a year. Gold Card members receive a 15% discount on in-flight and online Duty Free shopping as well as an extra 25% promotional mileage on travel points earned. Additional benefits include access to the VIP airport lounge, Business Class check-in, and an extra 10kg baggage allowance along with priority baggage handling.

Platinum Card

Once you’ve earned 32 mileage points in a year, you’ll be eligible for Air Macau’s Privileges Platinum membership. You’ll be granted access to the airlines VIP lounge along with a guest, and receive an extra 20kg baggage allowance and priority baggage handling. Other perks include 15% off in-flight and online duty free purchases, business class check-in system-wide, and members earn 50% bonus mileage.
