Economy

Economy seats are 17 inches wide and have an average pitch of 31 inches on Turkish Airlines flights. Passengers have 2 options for all main meals. Special meals are available but must be requested at least 24 hours prior to departure. Passengers can order a wide range of alcohol and non alcoholic beverages. Seats are fitted with individual entertainment units providing on-demand movies and TV shows.

Comfort

Comfort Class seats on Turkish Airlines flights have an average width of 19.5 inches and can have a pitch of 46 inches. Upon boarding, passengers are offered a welcome drink Dining onboard features a choice of hot Turkish and interionational cuisines, served in porcelain dishes. Breakfast involves a hot or cold meal option. Special requirement meals are available but must be ordered at least 24 hours prior to departure. A wide range of premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available. Each seat is equipped with its own entertainment unit featuring movies, TV programs, audio books, music and games.

Business

Turkish Airline's Business Class is only available on selected aircraft B777-300 abd A330-300 aircraft. Business Class seats feature an ottoman that creates a 75 inch full flat bed. With a 1-2-1 configuration, all seats have direct access to the isle. Passengers are greeted with a welcome drink and hot or cold towel. All Business passengers are provided with a Porsche Design amenity kit featuring cosmentics by Acca Kappa. The meal service varies depending on the flight duration, but usually involves a welcome drink, hot and cold meals, hors d'oeuvres, snacks, Turkish Delight, and various hot drinks including Turkish Tea. The entertainment systems vary between touch or remote controlled private screens, offering around 350 films and short programs, as well as 600 albums..

 

Baggage conditions

On all flights, a single piece of baggage can weigh up to 32kg. We do not accept any one piece of baggage weighing more than 32kg.
To avoid trouble entering the country you are travelling to, you should make sure that you are not carrying any are restricted or prohibited food items.
Infant passengers are entitled to a piece of baggage weighing 10 kg on each flight and 23 kg on flights under the piece baggage application. Additionally, strollers that do not exceed 115 cm are allowed on all flights. Child passengers have the same amount of baggage allowance as adult passengers.
Which airline baggage rules are applicable for international flights carried out as an interline with another airline is determined within the framework of the methods of IATA (International Air Transport Association). The practices of the Most Important Carrier (MSC) apply to baggage rights that can be carried within the framework of these rules. The Most Important Carrier (MSC) is usually the longest leg airlines, but there may be some exceptions.
US DOT (US Department of Transportation) applications are valid on interline flights from/to the United States and CTA (Canada Transportation Agency) applications are valid on interline flights from/to Canada. Accordingly, the rules of the First Marketing Carrier, which makes the first course of your travels to the relevant destination, apply to all travel. This carrier may also choose to apply Most Significant Carrier if it wishes.

The piece concept of baggage shall not be applied to domestic flights. For domestic flights, the kilogram concept will continue to be in effect.

Tukish Airline's online check-in is available from 24 hours until 90 minutes prior to flight departure time. At selected airports, passengers can use self-service kiosks to check in, from 12 hours until 60 minutes prior to departure. Standard check-in is available between 2 hours and 1 hour prior to departure. Business Class and First Class passengers have access to dedicated check-in counters. First Class passengers can check-in as late as 30 minutes prior to departure.

Business Class passengers, First Class passengers and Miles&Smiles Elite and Elite Plus members have access to the CIP lounge service in Istanbul. This lounge contains private rooms, a wide selection of food and drinks, business centre, Wi-Fi, entertainment, kids room, massage chairs, and showers. Other Star Alliance lounges may be accessible for some Turkish Airlines customers on enquiry.

Turkish Airlines offer the Miles&Smiles rewards program. Points can be earned and redeemed on all Star Alliance flights. Members of other Star Alliance rewards programs can earn points by flying with Turkish Airlines. Elite and Elite Plus cardholders have access to the exclusive CIP Lounge.
