Lowest Package Guarantee

If you happen to find a cheaper local / domestic package we will beat it by R100. Should we not be able to beat your domestic holiday package we will give you one night’s accommodation for free.
We will beat same day, available package quotes for local /domestic holiday packages. A holiday package consists of airfare, car hire or transfers (excludes Uber) and accommodation.  We will beat same day, available holiday package quotes provided that the quote is from a South African registered supplier.

Follow these easy steps

As long as the exact same airfare, accommodation and car hire or transfer is available, Flight Centre will beat any genuine written quote by R100 per person on domestic packages.

Step 1: Bring us a written quote prior to booking

The airfare, accommodation and car hire or transfer must be quoted in South African Rand from a registered South African travel agency or any airline priced in South African Rand. The flight must originate from a South African airport.
Quote must be in writing and presented to us on the same day as it was created and must be presented to us prior to booking.
The airfare accommodation and car hire or transfer must be available and able to be booked by the general public when you bring it to us. A written quote must contain the airline, the flight number, the departure point, destination, dates & times, date of quote and full price including all taxes, surcharges, service fees and the cancellation policy. The quote must be for the same dates, airlines, number of passengers, booking classes, flight numbers, property, room type, ages of minors where applicable, room configuration, car hire or transfer type and must list any inclusions such as but not limited to meal basis.

You can provide written airfare quotes from registered:

  • 1) South African travel agencies
  • 2) Airlines registered with IATA
  • 3) South African registered websites quoting in South African Rand

Step 2: Confirmation that the quote is genuine and available

Your consultant will need to confirm that the quote is genuine, available and able to be booked by the general public when you present it to us. Should we verify that the holiday package quote is genuine, available and able to be booked by the general public when you present it to is, we will beat it by R100.
We will require you to book your flight or holiday package at the time of verification and pay in full. If the same quoted product is not available, we will endeavour to find you the best available alternative that suits your requirements. The change and cancellation conditions specific to your booking will apply.

Flight Centre might be required to make the booking on the relevant airline or supplier’s website. You may be required to have a credit card in order to confirm and pay for an online booking. The full fare may be deducted from your credit card and the any applicable discount will be refunded to your credit card or via eft.
If we believe your written quote contains an error in pricing; or that the pricing, fare, booking class or room type offered is no longer available to book on the same date, airline, for the same property, flight number or for the same number of passengers; we have a 24 hour period to investigate the pricing.
Should the written quotation meet the conditions for the Low Price Promise guarantee, we will beat it R100. If we are not able to beat your quote, you will get 1 nights’ accommodation for FREE.
All quotes are subject to verification and availability

The following will be excluded from our Lowest Package Guarantee

Low cost carriers that have not been operational in South Africa for a minimum of 12 months. We no longer beat written quotation from the Globetravel website or quotations from AirBnB.
Group bookings or children under the age of two years are excluded from the Guarantee (a group consists of 10 people or more travelling together for the duration of the trip).
Suppliers or agencies that are not South African registered businesses and who operate from a foreign country. Please note that a .co.za website is not necessarily a South African registered business. Some websites with a .co.za website address operate from foreign countries and payment is deducted in the currency of that country.
Online credit card payments via the Electronic Customer Acceptance (ECA).
