Let us inspire your journey in 2018 with our 12 month travel guide. We have put together various travel options as well as a list of the must-see places and worldwide events. Start planning ahead and make 2018 a year to remember.

October is springtime in the southern hemisphere, and an opportunity to come out of hibernation for the return of warmer weather!

The short South African school holidays lend themselves to a family getaway. Locally, you might plan a visit to the east coast, enjoying the likes of Durban and Umhlanga before they reach busy peak season.

An Indian Ocean island vacation is also ideal at this time of year – not too humid or too rainy. Idyllic and pristine, the Seychelles offers powdery white beaches, clear turquoise waters and tropical island greenery. 115 perfect islands, scattered lovingly in the Indian Ocean, makes choosing your favourite island, almost impossible. World-famous resorts are housed in the Seychelles, waiting to spoil and pamper you as you choose your favourite beach for the day.

The City of Angels is where dreams of stardom are carved into reality. Beautiful people in a beautiful city sharing, being creative and of course, many being scandalous. Walk the streets where movie stars have gone before, eat like the rich and famous and sip on martini’s just because you can.

Cancun in Mexico offers you the best of both worlds from glitzy hotels, parties and white sandy beaches to city buildings and little food joints to undeveloped and hidden beaches.  Cancun has it all from wild parties to an abundant plant and animal wild-life. Traverse through the jungle and behold its Maya ruins or adventure further south to Bacalar’s lagoon for an explosion of colour and beauty.

For a huge party, head down to Mexico for the Day of the Dead festival which is a celebration of ancestors. The party vibe is contagious with street dancing, face painting, delectable food and of course, margarita’s!
