Starting in Curepipe, the second most important town of the island which is well known for it's shopping; Cashmere, carpets, jewellery, ready-made garments are available at good value for money. You will then stop at Trou aux Cerfs, a dormant crater located at 650 metres above sea level which offers a beautiful panoramic view on the Moka range. Following Grand Bassin (the Ganga Talao), a sacred place of worship for the hindu community, you will head towards chamarel along the Black River Gorges with magnificent viewpoints followed by Lunch at Le Chamarel and a rhum tasting at the Rhumerie. The final stops will be Chamarel waterfalls and the 7 Coloured Earth, before making your way back.
