KLM will introduce a direct flight year-round from Amsterdam to Mauritius, in partnership with Air Mauritius, on October 30.
As per the arrangement, KLM will operate Amsterdam-Mauritius-Amsterdam flights during Northern IATA Winter seasons and from March 26, 2018 Air Mauritius will operate Mauritius-Amsterdam-Mauritius flights during Northern IATA Summer seasons. Each airline will codeshare on the other airline’s operated flights.
In winter Flight KL501 will depart on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam at 17h20 (local time) and arrive in Mauritius at 07h35 (local time) the following day. Return flight KL502 will depart Mauritius on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 09h45 and arrive back at Schiphol at 18h35.
In summer flight MK930 will depart Mauritius on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 09h45 (local time) and arrive in Amsterdam at 18h35(local time). Return flight MK931 will depart Amsterdam at 17h20 (local time) on Monday, Thursdays and Saturdays and arrive in Mauritiusat07h35 the following day.
KLM will operate their services on B787-9 which has 30 world business seats, 45 economy comfort seats and 219 economy class seats and Air Mauritius will use an Airbus A340 with 28 business class seats and 264 economy class seats.
