Ireland: St Patrick’s Day tram strike called off
A strike by staff who work on the Luas - Dublin's tram system – that was due to take place today has been cancelled after a partial breakthrough in a pay dispute, according to BBC.
The dispute has been going on for some time and previous strikes have caused disruption for thousands of passengers.
Today's cancelled strike was expected to cause even more disruption due to St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
