Gautrain opens terminal at OR Tambo international arrivals
The Gautrain has opened a dedicated kiosk in the OR Tambo international arrivals hall.
Once customers have cleared customs and made their way through the Gautrain-branded corridor they are able to purchase preloaded Gold Cards with their credit cards and get up-to-date information on the trains’ schedules at this dedicated kiosk.
There are two digital screens with live feeds showing the timetable, next train details, distance to the station, general system information and app information. Passengers can also engage with well-informed Gautrain ambassadors about the Gautrain’s service offerings. The kiosk opens daily at 05h00 to welcome early flights from Africa and the rest of the world and it closes at 21h00.
Currently the Gautrain offers two different train services – a dedicated airport service to Marlboro and Sandton interlinking at these two points with the second one which is a commuter service – Rhodesfield, Marlboro and Sandton (east-west link) and Park, Rosebank, Sandton, Midrand, Centurion, Pretoria Central and Hatfield (north-south link).
