Emirates increases capacity on Johannesburg route with A380
Emirates will use a 516-seat A380 on one of its Johannesburg-Dubai flights from February 1.
The airline currently operates four daily flights on the route and the A380 will replace the 364-seat Boeing 777 on one of these services.
The A380 will have a three-cabin layout – 14 private suites in first class, 76 business-class pods and 426 seats in economy class.
Flight EK762 will depart Johannesburg at 13h25 and arrive in Dubai at 23h45. EK761 will depart Dubai at 04h40 and arrive in Johannesburg at 10h55.
The A380 service will operate as a codeshare with SAA.
