Airlink will increase frequencies on some of its routes during the festive season.
There will be more flights on the Cape Town-Nelspruit service. Flight SA8665 will operate on December 9 and once a day from December 27 to January 4. It will depart Cape Town at 10h30 and arrive in Nelspruit at 13h05. SA8666 will operate on December 11 and once a day from December 27-January 3, departing Nelspruit at 13h45 and arriving in Cape Town at 16h25.
The Durban-George route will have eight extra flights. On December 12, 18, 19, 21, 23, 27, 29 and January 3, SA8517 will depart Durban at 13h40 and arrive in George at 15h30. SA8518 will depart George at 15h50 and arrive in Durban at 17h15.
There will also be more flights between Johannesburg and Bulawayo. Flight SA8114 will depart Johannesburg at 15h00 and arrive in Bulawayo at 16h20. Flight SA8115 will depart Bulawayo at 16h40 and arrive in Johannesburg at 18h05. This flight will operate Monday to Friday and on Sundays from December 12 to January 15. There will be one Saturday flight on December 17.
Airlink has also added flights to its Cape Town-Maun and Cape Town-Pretoria services, but has not finalised the schedule for these flights.
Capacity will be increased for December with the use of larger aircraft between Cape Town and George, and Johannesburg and Vilanculos.
