Must-see New York City

New York isn’t called the “City That Never Sleeps” for nothing and here is why it is on our travel hot spot. Expect a non-stop extravaganza of amazing sights, restaurants, cuisine, culture and activities. Take a ferry to the iconic Statue of Liberty. Be dazzled by the bright lights, roaring restaurants and buzzing bars crowding the borders of Time Square. Watch the sunset from the top of the towering Empire State Building. Stroll through the leafy greenery of Central Park, spotting surreal statues and tinkling fountains along the way. Get your art fix at the momentous MOMA with its jaw-dropping collection of art through the eras. Fill up at the incredible Chelsea Market and party the night away at the neon-lit nightlife hub of the Meatpacking District. Splash some cash on posh 5th Avenue. Charge the raging bull on Wall Street. Then start planning your next visit, because there’s just no way to see it all in one go!

Go all-out in London

When it comes to culture, nightlife, cuisine and good times, London gives New York a real run for its money. Don’t miss this all-time favourite travel hot spot for reasons such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. Get a bird’s eye view of the city from the all-seeing London Eye. Hit the Borough Market for a foodie feast. Rub shoulders with famous musicians in trendy Soho. Tuck into roast beef, mushy peas and a pint of ale at a traditional London pub. Check out Banksy’s best on the streets of Brick Lane and Shoreditch. Splash out on some pricey swag in the swanky West End. Then get your boogie on in London Central where you’ll find everything from hard-core EDM and rock to cool indie clubs and smooth jazz.

Provocative Paris

Ask anyone what the most romantic city in the world is, and you’ll get Paris every time, whether they have been there or not! But even if you’re not in the mood for romance, you’ll find plenty of reasons to fall in love with Paris. Marvel at the iconic Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. Stroll down the glamorous Champs-Elysees. Stare at the stone gargoyles perched atop the Notre Dame. And smile back at the Mona Lisa in the Louvre. Feast on the finest fromage and baguettes or treat yourself at a Michelin-star restaurant. Even if you’re on a tight budget, shopping (or at least window shopping) is a must in this uber-stylish city. Hit the designer boutiques of the Louvre and Tuileries District or find some vintage treasures on Montmartre hill. People watch at a street corner café. Then head out on the town to rowdy Oberkampf, lively Bastille, snazzy Place Vendome and seductive Montmartre.

Bliss-out in Bali

If you’re after sun, sand, surf and coconut cocktails, you simply can’t do better than Bali. By far the most popular hot spots are on the southern beach areas of Legian, Kuta and Seminyak. Here you’ll find plenty of busy bars, lively restaurants and pumped up clubs such as Cocoon, Sky Garden Rooftop Lounge and Engine Room to name a few. Looking for something a little more low key? Head to the blissed-out beach of Canggu that’s fast becoming the coolest hipster hangout with its trendy cafes and laid-back bars. Check out the mysterious Goa Gajah, 'Elephant Cave'. Go on an adventurous jungle trek across volcanic hills. And visit the breath-taking temple of Tanah Lot. And that’s just the start of why we think Bali is a travel hot spot!

Thailand has a mind-boggling mix of colourful culture, gorgeous scenery, crowded markets and pumping nightlife. For the party of a lifetime, head to Koh Pha Ngan under a full moon. Bangkok is a whole new kettle of coconuts featuring crowded shopping on Khao San Road, the glittering golden Grand Palace and dime-a-dozen massage parlours and nail salons. Want to rave it up in the city? Check out Bangkok’s legendary party scene at Ce La Vi, Onyx and Beam amongst many others. Visit the cultural hot spot of Chiang Mai where you can shop like a local at the floating markets. Then mingle with rescued elephants in their natural jungle habitat at the Elephant Nature Park. The island of Koh Phi Phi’s Monkey Beach is a great way to get up close and personal with the cheeky wildlife too.
