Experience the thrill of Bungee Jumping Vic Falls

15 August 2012

A true photographer would go to all lengths to get that perfect award winning and career making shot. Whether it’s lying dead still in the Amazon rainforest for days on end in the attempt to capture the Blue Morpho caterpillar or running through flying bullets to get a shot that will depict the true emotions, horror, and genuine illustrations of warfare.

Bungee Jumping

Being a professional in-depth photographer expects a lot from a person, and more often than not they are completely willing to do whatever it takes, some might even say unexpectedly enthusiastic. Bungee Jumping Vic Falls is no different; the rush of jumping off a bridge and floating through the space of 111 meters is nothing less than invigorating and supremely enlivening.

Bungee Jumping Vic Falls is an experience not too be missed. The bridge is situated in ‘no man’s land’ between Zimbabwe and Zambia with a beautiful view of the waterfall and the Zambezi River below.

Any photographer would jump at the opportunity to take beautiful shots of unexpected emotions and freedom of flight. The jump itself will be even more of a rush, with adrenaline pumping through every vain fuelling all your emotions to boil to the surface.

There are a couple of things to know before making the decision to take the plunge;

  • The weight limit is a minimum of 40 kilograms and maximum of 140kilograms.
  • The age limit is a minimum of 14 years of age and all children under the age of 18 needs a signed indemnity form provided by a guardian.
  • There are certain medical conditions which will prohibit you from taking the jump including pregnancy, high blood pressure, heart conditions, neurological disorders, epilepsy and acute or chronic knee or back disorders.
  • A detailed explanation and demonstration will be given to each jumper. Advice on what to expect during the jump as well as the recovery system will also be provided by the jumping instructor.

The idea of jumping off the Victoria Falls Bridge can be a haunting prospect, but taking the plunge is certainly worth it. Flight Centre can arrange your ideal holiday in Zimbabwe or Zambia and also provide you with the opportunity for bungee jumping Vic Falls.
