  1. It’s always hot in Abu Dhabi

While we still have a few months of winter ahead of us, the good news is that not only is it summer season in Abu Dhabi, but you’re going to want to take advantage of some of the world-class beaches, including the Blue Flag Corniche, Saadiyat Island and Al Bateen.

For some added fun in the sun and some adrenaline-racing adventure why not head out to Yas Waterworld with its array of rides, slides and other water attractions, as well as a premium selection of restaurants and shops.

  1. Culture vultures delight

During your 48-hour stay it would be well worth it to take some time to immerse yourself in some of the rich local culture and heritage of Abu Dhabi.

A definite must-see visit is amazing Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The mosque is probably the grandest in the world. Immerse yourself in it’s intricate carvings, artisanal glass-works and beautiful tiled mosaics. Then, for a genuine insight into pre-oil boom Emirati life, plan a jaunt to the Bedouin Heritage Village, the reconstruction of a traditional oasis village.

  1. Fast, faster and fastest

Red and racy. Whether you are a Ferrari fan or not, Ferrari World on Yas Island promises to be hours and hours of fun and entertainment.

You will also be able to try out Ferrari World’s latest offering Turbo Track, which launches adrenaline junkies from inside the park at 102 KMPH through the famous glass funnel, before propelling them vertically through the iconic red roof to the highest point on Yas Island at 64 m, before they vertically plummet down to the safety of mother earth.

If you need to catch your breath or if hair-raising mechanical rides are just not your thing, Ferrari World also have some less intense thrills and activities on offer which include more rides and a tour celebrating the longstanding history of Ferrari.

For die-hard petrol heads a visit to Yas Marina Circuit literally puts you in the driving seat of some of the world’s most expensive and fast cars. From taking the famous Formula Yas 3000’s for a spin to drifting, drag racing and go-karting. Experiences available include Aston Martin GT4, Mercedes AMG and Yas Drift Nights. 1. Go pearl hunting
