4. Party Central St Patrick's Day, Ireland

Raise a Guinness (or 10) to Ireland on Saint Paddy’s Day. Kit yourself out in green, slap a shamrock tattoo on your bod and follow the grand parade with over 500 000 revellers through the streets of Dublin. They say that around 13 million Guinness are consumed during St. Patrick's Day in Ireland. Challenge accepted.

5. Mystical Machu Picchu, Peru

This mystical Inca city is a must-see for anyone. But not all roads to Machu Picchu are the same. Take the more adventurous trek up to the city crossing swinging bridges, climbing steep cliffs and wandering down winding train tracks. Take a selfie with a llama. Climb up super steep Huanya Picchu for epic views. Then party the night away in Cusco.

8. Sultry Havana, Cuba

Havana ooh nana. This is one city you need to visit soon – before it loses its old-school charm. Play football in the streets with some local kids. Drink a Cuba Libre on the plaza. Sip rum from the bottle on the Malecon at 23rd Street for awesome sea views and a chance to rub shoulders with the locals. Then head to a club to salsa till the sun comes up.
