Enjoy everything from skiing to horse back riding expeditions with Holidays in Eastern Cape

Confused on what do for the holidays? What about a Safari trip while encountering the magnificent Big 5 or relaxing on a sandy beach at the coast or even a road trip while travelling through the open spaces of the Karoo Heartland. No need to choose, because holidays in the Eastern Cape will include all of the above.

The landscape of the Eastern Cape is very diverse. The west is mostly dry Karoo land, while the east is green and filled with forests and the Wild coast beaches are tropical and endearing. Port Elizabeth is an industrial city that rests in the centre of the region. Situated 73 km outside of Port Elizabeth is The Addo Elephant National Park.  It offers a shelter to over 170 elephants, 20 plus black rhino, 180 bird species and the last Cape buffalo. Also worth seeing is the Tsitsikamma National Park. This coastal reserve is situated between Nature’s Valley and the Storms River. The Otter Trail is a famous tourist attraction with the forest filled with indigenous fauna. Near the park you can also find the Bloukrans Bridge which it currently the world’s highest bungee jumping spot (216m). South Africa’s one and only ski resort, Tiffendell, is located near Rhodes in the Southern Drankensberg with slopes that lead to the highest mountain peak in Eastern Cape.  Entertainment includes the annual National Art Festival held in Grahamstown. Local and imported talent makes festivity even more noteworthy.  Jeffrey’s Bay is home to a surfing community and relaxing on the beach and enjoying the sexy sun tanned bodies are the perfect getaway. Holidays in the Eastern Cape will not be complete if you have not visited the Wild Coast. It is the traditional home to many popular South Africans including Nelson Mandela and Thabo Mbeki. The unspoiled beaches of the Wild Coast Sun are a beauty in its own magnitude. Facilities and activities include gambling, dining, clubbing, relaxing at a Beauty Salon and for the businessmen there are conference venues where meetings can be settled before enjoying the festivities.

The diversity of holidays in Eastern Cape should all be experienced. With a well planned holiday you can benefit from every aspect of it.
