SOUTH AFRICAN'S TRAVELLING TO DUBAI REQUIRES VISA'S.
* The Embassy does not issue tourist visas. * Visas can also be obtained through Emirates Airlines, provided visitors are traveling on an actual Emirates flight number. UK citizens with right of abode in the UK do not need to obtain a visa in advance. On entry, a visitors visa will be issued valid for a stay of 60 days.
Types of Visas:
  1. Visitors Visas (family visits and business): * Applies to tourists spending more than 14 days in Dubai. * Sponsorship from any UAE resident or any company or hotel licensed to operate in the UAE. * Valid for entry within 60 days from date of issue. * Can be renewed for a total stay of up to 90 days.
  2. Tourist Visas: * May be obtained for individual tourists from: East & West Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, South Africa, Singapore & China. * Validity for 30 days.
  3. Multiple Entry Visas (Business): * Business visitors who have a relationship with either multinational or other reputable local establishments & are frequent visitors to the UAE. * Valid for 6 months from date of issue & the duration of each stay is 30 days
  4. Transit Visas: * Valid for up to 96 hours. * Valid if passenger is travelling onwards from Dubai to another destination & not returning to the country of original departure. For a list of other nationalities that do not require a visa or can get a transit visa issued on arrival, refer to the GSA (Middle East section) or contact our office.
Remember:
* Nationals of Israel may not enter the UAE. * A penalty charge of Dhs100 per day is imposed on visitors who overstay.
All passengers require visas to be processed prior to arrival in Dubai. Visa’s are subject to the approval of the Immigration Authorities and may be refused without any reasons given.
All visa charges have to be paid at time of application and are non-refundable without exception. This means if a visa is not granted the visa charges will not be refunded or adjusted. We may only apply for a visa in cases where the accommodation for the entire length of stay has been booked with Infinity Holidays and Arabian Adventures. Should an approved but unutilized visa already exist in the system against the applicant’s name, the new visa request will be rejected. In such cases the previous visa will need to be cancelled through the source, before applying for a new visa.
All visas are valid for Single Entry only. Should you wish to re-enter the UAE on the return trip, a new visa will need to be processed after departure from Dubai. Infinity Holidays is not in a position to apply for visas once a passenger has departed South Africa.
