Diving in Bali

Bali is most definitely a world class diving spot. There are several large and fascinating wrecks, which are easily accessible to open water 1 divers.

The USS Liberty, an American cargo ship was wrecked on the shores of Tulamben, until in the 1960s, when a volcano erupted and pushed the ship back into the water. Today this wreck is accessible with a very easy shore entry and a short +/-20m swim to the wreck.

This is just one of the amazing dive spots on the island, while others include the Gili islands off the island of Lombok, Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan, both of which are a short boat ride from the south east part of Bali.
